September 2023 – A great turnout and some business advice
We had our highest number of breakfasters both online and in person this month.
Alison Withers reminded everyone that one of the free member benefits is an extended Member Spotlight.

An additional source of income in trying times
Speaker Mike Bernard explained how becoming a partner in Utility Warehouse can add an extra income stream.
It offers both a way of saving money on energy bills and of earning a little more money.
Increasingly, he said, the UK is becoming a nation of multi-income individuals equating to one in three adults.
Television presenter and adventurer Ben Fogle is the company’s brand ambassador.
Mike explained that the way UW keeps prices low is by doing no advertising and relying on its partners to spread the message.
Partners pay a £10 per month registration fee and a £3 registration fee after their third month. In return, they not only get money off their energy bills but so do the customers they introduce. They currently get up to £1000 for every four new customers they introduce after the qualifying period.
UW also offers training via videos and partners can have their own UW website.
UW is also currently exploring adding more services home insurance and income protection insurance.
