Membership Payment Methods
We have several different methods for membership payment available.
As an Annual Member, you will be issued a receipted Chamber invoice for your payment.
Annual membership is £95.00.
Please note that Stowmarket and District Chamber of Commerce is not VAT registered and there is no VAT included in this amount.

Payment of invoice may be made via GoCardless or bank transfer. Cheques are no longer accepted.
Please note that membership applications are invalid without payment.
Monthly Membership
If you would prefer to take a Monthly Membership it is available at a higher overall cost of £9.00 per month.
Monthly membership is only available through GoCardless Subscription at a cost of £9.00 monthly, a total of £108 per annum.
You will be contacted by our Treasurer with the appropriate invoice.

Monthly Membership Terms and Conditions
We are pleased to offer the option of a monthly membership to aid your cash flow – but please note the following terms and conditions:

- The option for monthly membership may be withdrawn at any time.
- The rate for monthly membership may be varied at any time, with a minimum of two months’ notice.
- To keep administration costs low we will only accept payment for monthly membership via GoCardless Subscription.
- Membership starts on the 1st of the month after the first payment and continues for as long as payments continue unless terminated. The initial period will be for 12 months.
- If you change your mind about membership we offer a no-questions-asked refund within 30 days of your initial payment.
If you are not satisfied, then simply send us an email and we will refund your first membership payment right away. Our goal has always been to create a happy, thriving community.
If you are not thrilled with your membership or are not enjoying the experience, then we have no interest in forcing you to stay an unhappy member. - Conversely, if you wish to transfer to a single annual payment, just send us an email to tell us! We will then invoice you for your annual membership.
Your annual membership will start on the date the annual payment is received. - Your monthly membership ceases immediately when payment is not made in full in a month, and the facility will be withdrawn if payment has lapsed without prior discussion with the Treasurer, [email protected].
- Your membership may be terminated by you at any point after the first 12 months, by email to [email protected] and we will acknowledge receipt.
- Any membership payments to the Chamber made after the acknowledgement will be refunded in full, but it is your responsibility to cancel your Subscription.
- The current monthly membership payment is £9.00 per month, a total of £108.00 against an annual payment of £95.00.
